Our Focus
Introducing young people to Jesus at pivotal moments
YFC is a movement that reaches young people everywhere with the hope of Christ. We work with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the Word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ, and commitment to social involvement.

Life Transformation
My story isn't one of privilege or a religious upbringing. My family wasn't rich, not in money, or in faith. Church wasn't a regular part of our lives and God was more of a distant concept than a present reality. Honestly, before camp, my life felt pretty ordinary. I was just...existing. Then came Southwind. The counselors were amazing. They shared their own stories, their strugges, and their faith in a way that resonated with me. One evening, I heard a speaker share his testimony. His words struck a chord within me. It was as if he were speaking directly to my heart. That night, I made the decision to open my heart to God. I was tired of filling that void in my life with things that didn't truly satisfy me. Since then, my life has been transformed. Now, I have a foundation of faith to stand on. I've been actively involved in a youth group since returning to camp. It's allowed me to not only grow my faith, but also share it with others.

Anyone Can Be A Volunteer
Have you ever wished that you could make a difference in this world, but deep down, you know that you are not Billy Graham? Well, that would be me too. As I began to transition from full-time career to part-time, I prayed about where I could volunteer. I’m so glad God led me to help in the weekly clubs at Sebring Middle School. Let me tell you, God is working in young people these days. First, we’ve got 150 kids that come each week. Most are polite and sweet to us. Second, these kids are hungry for truth. They want to know the truth of the gospel. These kids are not like the kids I went to school with. They are open and hungry. The school is supportive and gives us freedom. God is doing something big. The kids just want to be seen, heard, loved and told the truth! The harvest is ripe! The fish are hungry! So pray for us and the students! Thank you!

YFC and the Local Church
Tanner and Ryan* are two brothers whose testimonies are a product of effective YFC middle school ministry! They both attend Sebring Middle School, and both of them come to club every week. While at club last year, they both accepted Jesus into their hearts. Tanner went to YFC Camp that summer. After their confession of faith, they were encouraged to find a local youth group. They heard about Assembly Youth (which was right next to their house) and started walking to church every single Wednesday. Since attending the youth group, they have both grown so much spiritually and emotionally. They have really immersed themselves in the culture while making friends and identifying themselves as leaders within the group. After about a year of faithful attendance, they now serve on The Winning Team of student leaders and volunteers each Wednesday.
